Mindful Morning Routine

As you may know, self-care is really important. It allows us to focus on ourselves and to take time to replenish our positive attitudes and self-esteem. Every morning, I try to incorporate self-love into my routine while getting ready for work because I believe that starting the day off with a positive outlook will result in me having a good day and aid in finding the positives in any situation. Today I am going to share with you my mindful self-care routine that is good for any and every day.

When I first wake up, I avoid checking my phone first thing in the morning and instead swap that for some morning meditation. I meditate for about 5 minutes and while I am meditating I breathe in and out and really focus on an affirmation card from the Deserved Happiness set called Magic Within Affirmation cards set. I let that affirmation be my mantra for the day.

After I am finished meditating, I turn to one of my favorite journals also from Deserved Happiness called, Magically Lit and Full of Grit and I answer one of the prompts while also writing down my thoughts. I try to narrow in on the goals I have for the day and I believe that helps me to achieve them. By writing them down, I can see the steps I need to do to accomplish them.

When I am done with my morning meditations and journaling, I am hungry.  I head to the kitchen and I look for something yummy to eat. I try to keep breakfast healthy and filling. When I have time I make some eggs and eat with turkey bacon and drink that with green tea but If I’m in a rush I opt for a fruit smoothie.

I hope you enjoyed my mindful morning routine and do you do any of these things? Would you incorporate some of this routine into yours? Let me know down below

Put Your Worried Mind at Ease With These Simple Steps

April 30, 2020

...I have learned is that worrying can be one-sided often and we worry about the negatives of a potential situation or decision but we never think about the positives. The opposite of that what-if situation. What if I try something new and I am successful at it? What if I try this and I love it? What if I start this project and it is my new passion and leads to many more open doors?
