Mother’s day is this upcoming Sunday, May 10th and it is no lie that this one is out of the ordinary. Quarantine may be preventing you from visiting your mom but below are 3 ways to make this day special if you aren’t able to see her and even if you are. :)
You can have a drive-by parade. You and your siblings/loved ones can make signs and attach them to your car so when you drive by your mom will be able to see them from her house. You can honk and play music to get her attention and make it more fun.
You can have a social distancing dance party. You and your siblings/loved ones can visit your mom, play some music, and dance in the front yard or backyard (if you are shy) all while maintaining 6 ft.
Lastly, you, your mom, and your siblings can video chat. That is a way where you all can see each other if you are apart. Also, you all can play games like heads up on video chat. There are apps where you can group video chat while playing games such as houseparty.
